Sand is a great exfoliator! But I need a towel to clean my sunglasses and as a buffer between me and the hot sand. Sand is fine, hot sand...not so much!
When you want to get it off your feet (swimming gets it off the body, but you hafta walk to the car)...rub with baby powder.
