Gunnison Beach in Gateway National Seashore Park at Sandy Hook, NJ has to be one of America's finest Clothing Optional destinations. With a view that overlooks Manhattan, a beautiful stretch of clean, sandy beach awaits you. Its clothing optional status is fully sanctioned and protected by the National Parks Service. There are National Park Service life guards on location as well as rest rooms and concessions at the parking lot. Security is excellent, allowing one be very comfortable taking a naked stroll of up to a mile south of the protected area and being confident that your belongings are safe as you explore as nature intended. Early arrival on weekends suggested, as the ample parking lot can fill quickly.
