Beachwear

For Swimming, Sunning & Playing

One essential component of a trip to the beach is proper beachwear. Whether your primary concern is the way you look or the comfort and functionality of your garments, it's important to have the proper apparel.

The first factor to consider is the time of year and the sort of beach. A trip to a sunny, sandy beach during the Florida summer requires a different outfit than a day on a rocky and windy beach on a cold day in the Pacific Northwest.

Cecilia Moreno represents Curves N’ Waves, a well established boutique, which has been in business for 12 years. It is located in the ultra chic spot of Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Florida.

She has prepared a 15 part video presentation on how to select swimwear. Click the link right under the video player to see the other videos in this series. In the other videos she discusses topics such as selecting one-piece suits, brazilian cut suits, cover-ups, halter tops and beach bags and other accessories.

One good tip before leaving home for your trip is to run through a checklist.

  • Hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Shirt and/or Jacket
  • Swimwear and Pants
  • Beach Footwear

Of course within each of these categories you need to make your own selection. Some people prefer a wide brimmed sun hat while others will opt for the classic baseball cap. And of course there is a wide variety of styles when choosing a swimsuit.
