Beaches Boscobel: A Luxurious Family Vacation in Jamaica
Providing supervised activities throughout the day and into the evening for the children allows the parent to have fun while on vacation without worrying whether or not the children are safe, and taking the pressure off of them to have to entertain them as well. And let's face it, we want our kids to have a safe, wonderful time while on vacation, but we also want to have some fun ourselves, right? The resort offers a newly renovated twenty seven thousand square foot water park, called Pirates Island, where there is fun for the whole family. With water slides and water cannons, it’s a fantastic way to cool off from a day in the Caribbean sun. More importantly there is a place for even the littlest ones to enjoy themselves here with a splash zone of their own, complete with a wading pool and sea creature themed misting and squirting toys.
The spa at Beaches Boscobel, Red Lane Spa, is decadence, pure and simple. While not included in the “all inclusive” part of the package, the menu prices are reasonable. The services however, are Caribbean hot. Inspired by the local flavors and tastes, you will go back home and rave about the wonderful treatments you got here. Girls will love spending a few hours getting pampered while the guys are hitting it off at the golf course!
Swimming with bottle nose dolphins in deep water is a lifetime experience that is on almost every bucket list. You can book a day at Dolphin Cove through the concierge which will also provide you with a shark show, time with exotic birds and snakes and other adventures. Beaches Boscobel is just a fantastic place to enjoy a relaxed vacation if you are in Jamaica with your family. Beaches Boscobel, a Sandal’s property, located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, is a luxurious, family friendly all inclusive resort that really caters to the entire family. And when we say all inclusive it really does mean all inclusive: meals, drinks and tips are included in the price, as well as the accommodations. Beaches Boscobel also includes a butler (cool, right?) and an assortment of activities for children, which are supervised by specially trained people with US certifications.
Best of all, for the tweens and teens there is the Xbox360 Garage, a state of the art video game center that will keep them entertained for hours. And while the kids are entertained, there is golf, tennis and relaxation for the adults. Greens fees are included for the golf course, but you do need to obtain a caddy. You can rent clubs and shoes at the club house. Just imagine playing eighteen holes of golf, in a tropical paradise, though. The par on the golf course is seventy one, by the way. 
The excursions that you can book through the concierge are worth taking a look at. Again, not part of the package, but really worth the money, especially if you have a little Sesame Street fan in the family or if you want to swim with dolphins. Sesame Sail Away, a Beaches Boscobel exclusive sailing adventure features the Sesame Street character Elmo and others on board the KATT. The cruise includes a continental breakfast and snacks and fun for all.
