Festival of Whales - Dana Point, CA
March 7 - 8 & 14 - 15, 2009 - Festival of Whales. This is the top beach event in California this weekend. From the minute you get up to watch the parade, till the finish of the day with a Campfire on Doheny Beach, or Movies at Baby Beach, you are in for non-stop entertainment. Parade begins at 9 a.m. along Coast Highway. A street fair follows, along with an art show & sale, concerts, Woodies on the beach at Baby Beach, Volleyball tournament at Doheny Beach beginning at 8 a.m., horseshoe tourney at Doheny around Noon, and music, food, vendors, sailing, boat rides, exhibits and entertainment throughout the day.
